Experiences by Risby Cove is our newly launched collection opening up the West Coast to those who stay with us.
More than a list of things to do, Experiences by Risby Cove is a curated collection shaped by this place and its seasons - mornings on the water and afternoons deep in ancient rainforest; a bespoke table at the end of the jetty as the harbour turns to fire; a miner's crib lunch on the floor of an abandoned copper mine; spirits tasted by the fire, cruises into World Heritage wilderness, and the old Mt Lyell railway winding down through the ranges to the sea.
Some experiences are shared, some are private, some you set out on alone - but each is ours, and each belongs to this coast alone. -
A number belong to guests of Risby alone: the Scenic Charter Flight in and out of Strahan, Summit to Shaft, Cove Reflections Kayaking, our Spirit Tastings, the Strahan Story Cycle, the Piner's Table, the Jetty Table, and the Ocean Beach Sunset Soirée. Each has been shaped around this stretch of coast, and you'll find them nowhere else and exclusively available to Risby Cove guests.

We recommend booking all experiences in advance. Signature and Exclusive experiences - particularly the river cruise and the wilderness railway - should be arranged as early as possible, as they frequently sell out. Please refer to the booking link in your confirmation email.

Some experiences are included in your stay, some are extras. Inclusive and Self-Guided experiences are complimentary; Signature and Exclusive experiences are arranged separately, and tailored to you through pre-arrival planning with our team.
